Essex’s newest signing Overseas signing, Neil Wagner has landed at Essex and is set to face Lancashire on the opening match of the season which begins on Friday at The Cloudfm County Ground in the Specsavers County Championship.
With First Class cricket experience playing for Lancashire and Northamptonshire, the 2017 New Zealand Test Player of the Year is ready and raring to go after his recent Test series against South Africa on home soil last month.
Wagner was very complimentary of the Essex bowling attack and is looking forward to joining up with the likes of Aaron Beard and Jamie Porter.
