Making his List A debut against Sussex Sharks, Paul Walter rose to the occasion taking 3 wickets in a tense finish at The Cloudfm County Ground. In the first Day/Night match of the season in the Royal London One-Day Cup, Essex came out winners by 10 runs thanks to Walter bowling Jerome Taylor with 11 balls to go.
The Billercay-born all rounder finished with figures of 3-45 off 9.1 overs and also took the vital wickets of Jofre Archer (45) and Danny Briggs (8).
He spoke to Essex Cricket TV after play to reflect on a fine performance.
