Essex County Cricket Club opening bowler Matt Quinn has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a back injury.
New-Zealander Quinn has been troubled by a persistent back problem and will unfortunately play no further part in the 2017 campaign.
The 24-year-old will undergo an operation next week and commence rehabilitation in preparation for the 2018 season.
