Essex County Cricket Club would like to confirm that the funeral of Doug Insole CBE, will be attended by close friends and family by invitation only. We request that all well-wishers respect the family’s privacy at this time.
A Memorial Service will be held later this year, details of which will be released in due course.
The Club’s thoughts and prayers are with Doug’s family at this time.
The Club would also like to thank those who attended the NatWest T20 Blast match against Middlesex and paid their respect to Doug ahead of play, with a minute’s applause in his memory.
