After a string of unbelievable performances throughout July and also into August, overseas star Mohammad Amir was awarded as the DeVines Player of the Month award for July with 69% of the votes.
The voting took into account the nine NatWest T20 Blast matches during July, which included his two wicket performance against Surrey at the Kia Oval for just 13 runs off his 4 overs.
Amir has settled into life at Essex and expressed his delight after receiving the framed photo from one of the matches!
