Following standout seasons, the Essex pair of Simon Harmer and Sam Cook have been named in the IG PCA Men’s Team of the Year for the second year in succession.
The Team is decided by the PCA Most Valuable Player Rankings and is considered to be the ultimate XI from men’s domestic cricket in 2022.
While captain of the side Will Jacks topped the MVP rankings with 536 points, Harmer was hot on his heels with 518 points and was the highest-placed spinner.
Cook picked up a total of 471 MVP points and his tally of 393 bowling points was the most bowling MVP points of any player.
