Michael Pepper picked by London Spirit in the Hundred draft

Michael Pepper will play for London Spirit in this year’s edition of The Hundred after being picked up in the competition’s draft on Thursday.

Pepper, who featured in the Hundred for the first time in 2022 for the Northern Superchargers, joins up with Adam Rossington and Dan Lawrence, who was named as their team captain earlier this week.

The Women’s competition featured a draft for the first time with Essex and Sunrisers player, Mady Villiers returning to Oval Invincibles once again.

Other Essex players featuring in this year’s competition and subsequently unavailable for the One Day Cup are Sam Cook (Trent Bridge) and Paul Walter (Manchester Originals), who were both retained by their respective teams.
