Aron Nijjar has joined Kent on a three-match loan deal until the end of the 2023 season.
Nijjar, 28, will be eligible for selection in home matches against Nottinghamshire and Lancashire, either side of a trip to Somerset.
The Spitfires currently occupy ninth spot in Division One of the LV= Insurance County Championship, six points from safety.
Left-arm orthodox spinner Nijjar has taken 19 wickets and hit 239 runs in 14 first-class appearances, alongside returning 62 wickets across 64 white-ball games.
