Following the Club’s 2024 Annual General Meeting that took place on Tuesday evening at The Cloud County Ground, please view the Club updates ratified on the evening.
The meeting confirmed the appointment of four Members to the Board, fulfilling the requirements for the available vacancies. Simon Cooper, Vicky Ford, and Chris Townsend will continue their roles, and we are delighted to welcome Josephine Spratt-Dawson to the Board for the first time.
Josephine is a keen supporter of Essex and England and is passionate about cricket. She has been practising as a barrister for over 30 years and has been a member of the management team of her chambers since its inception in 1997. As well as her enthusiasm for the game of cricket, she will bring a combination of legal knowledge and business acumen to the Board.
Members also voted on two proposed changes to the Constitution, both of which received majority approval.
