Essex Women captain, Grace Scrivens, has been announced as the T20 captain for England Women A’s tour of Australia.
The tour consists of three T20s, three 50-over matches and a four day match against Australia A. Scrivens will lead the T20 group whilst Durhams, Hollie Armitage, will take the 50-over group.
Scrivens, 21, was captain of the England Women Under-19s side in the 2023 T20 World Cup, in South Africa.
Meanwhile, Essex Women all-rounder, Eva Gray, will join up with the four-day England Women A squad as a replacement for the injured Danielle Gibson. Gray will fly to Australia and join up with the England squad at the conclusion of Essex’s pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi.
We would like to congratulate both Grace and Eva who will be representing England alongside Essex teammate, Jodi Grewcock.
