Sam Cook named in England Test Squad

After making his England Test debut at Trent Bridge last month against Zimbabwe, Sam Cook has been called up to the Test squad again for their upcoming Rothesay series against India.

Cook took his first Test wicket in his opening spell against Zimbabwe, dismissing opening left-handed batter Ben Curran.

He became the first England player since 1993 to bowl the opening over in the first innings on debut. Cook was unlucky not to claim more wickets, frequently beating the bat and consistently troubling the Zimbabwean batters.
