Thanks to our Partner, First Bus, ticket holders for the match against Kent Spitfires Men on Friday night can claim free bus travel on the day of the fixture.
Enjoy free travel across the First Bus Essex network all day — just show your match ticket when you board, but remember to check your journey home in advance.
Leave the car at home, soak up the sun, and enjoy a drink or two while cheering on the Eagles at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground.
The Ambassador Cruise Line Ground’s central Chelmsford location makes it easily accessible by bus. The nearest stop is on New London Road and just a few hundred yards from The Tees River Gate entrance, whilst the ground is also a short walk from Chelmsford Bus Station.
You can also look out for the Essex Cricket branded bus which is currently in operation across the city!
Battle of the Buses with the Eagles:
First Bus East of England hosted members of the Essex Men’s and Women’s team for a thrilling Battle of the Buses driving challenge.
The Eagles were joined by representatives from the Department for Transport to get behind the wheel and experience firsthand the skill and precision it takes to drive a bus.
Taking part in the challenge were Eva Gray, Cordelia Griffith, and Kelly Castle from Essex Cricket’s Women’s team, along with Matt Critchley and Paul Walter from the Men’s team.

Friday’s clash with Kent Spitfires Men is a sell-out but you can still purchase tickets for the remaining Vitality Blast games – but be quick as there is now very limited availability for the four remaining group games.
