
Essex Cricket are delighted to announce that England Women will return to the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground in 2026.
The ECB have today confirmed that England Women will return to Chelmsford on Thursday 28 May 2026 when Nat Sciver-Brunt’s side face India Women in a Vitality IT20.
The match, which is the first of a three-match series, will take place in Chelmsford before the sides head to the West Country and will form key preparation for both teams ahead of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 which will be held in England.

“This prestige fixture offers a superb opportunity to engage with the Indian communities in the region against the backdrop of elite-level cricket at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground.
“International matches in Chelmsford are always incredibly well supported and we are confident that the Essex public will come out to cheer on both teams during our 150th Anniversary Year.”
Tickets for the series are due to go on sale later in the summer, with a public ballot scheduled to open in August.
