Jordan Cox named in England T20 Squad

Essex Cricket’s Jordan Cox has been called up to the England T20 squad for the their white-ball tour of New Zealand this winter.

Cox, 24, has six T20I appearances to his name, having recently played for the international side during their tour of Ireland this month and is part of the 15-player squad set to play New Zealand on three occasions next month.

Against Ireland last time out, Cox scored 55 runs off 35 balls batting at four to record his highest international T20 score and took two impressive catches.

The right-handed batter made his England T20 debut in 2024 at Southampton against Australia, before also featuring against the West Indies.

Upon the completion of the 2025 Hundred tournament, Jordan was named the Player of the Tournament as he helped the Oval Invincibles secure the title for the third consecutive year. This was reinforced with a highly impressive performance of 86* from just 29 balls.
