
Essex Cricket can confirm the Academy intake list for the Essex Men ahead of the 2026 season.
This promising group of emerging talent is set to progress through the Club’s renowned development pathway. Operating since 2003, the Academy has a proud record of producing elite players, including England internationals Sir Alastair Cook, Tom Westley, Dan Lawrence and, most recently, Sam Cook.
This year’s cohort features ten Academy players, each selected for their exceptional potential and commitment, as the Club continues to invest in shaping the next generation of professional cricketers.
