
Essex County Cricket Club are thrilled to confirm that two additional international fixtures will be staged at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground during the 2026 season.
Chelmsford will welcome representative teams from both India and Sri Lanka this summer, as they face England representative sides in what promises to be a thrilling and action-packed programme of international T20 cricket.
- England Women A v India Women A – Wednesday 25 June at 6:30pm.
- England Lions Men v Sri Lanka Men – Friday 11 September at 6:30pm.
Hosting England Women A as they take on India Women A offers fans a unique opportunity to see some of the brightest emerging talents from two of the world’s leading cricketing nations in action, with future stars and top prospects competing amid the excitement of the ICC Women’s World Cup.
The England Lions face Sri Lanka in a thrilling T20 fixture at Chelmsford, giving fans an early glimpse of international talent ahead of Sri Lanka’s three-match series against the senior England Men’s team. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see England’s emerging men’s cricketers take on a strong Sri Lankan side in competitive conditions.
These fixtures further underline the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground’s reputation as a venue capable of hosting international cricket, adding to Chelmsford’s long and impressive history of staging matches at the highest level.
