U13 & U14 - Phase 1 of this process will involve attending two outdoor observation days throughout July & August. These observation sessions are expected to take place at various venues across Essex, with full details provided upon invitation. If successful in Phase 1, players will be invited to Phase 2 indoor observations throughout September & October which will be held in the indoor centre at The Ambassador Cruise Line Ground.
U16 & U18 - Players will directly enter the indoor observations in September & October, which will be held in the indoor centre at The Ambassador Cruise Line Ground.
Please ensure that any players nominated for CAG U13-U18 are comfortable with hardball cricket.
Players being observed for the EEP will be invited to two indoor observation sessions over September & October, which will be held in the indoor centre at The Ambassador Cruise Line Ground.
Players being nominated for the EEP (current U9-U11s) do not need to have hardball experience.
Please note that club performance data will have little influence on selection for the EEP, U13 & U14 cohorts, but will be taken into account when selecting the U16 & U18 cohorts.
For any players you wish to nominate, please forward the following form to their parents or guardians, informing them that you would like to nominate their child for county observations. Please note: this form is only for players who are NOT currently part of the Essex Girls’ EEP or CAG programme.
The deadline for this form is 1st July 2026.
