Last week, Essex Cricket hosted a special event at the House of Commons in London as part of the Club’s 150th Anniversary celebrations.
On Monday 01 June, the Club welcomed sponsors, MPs, past and present players, coaches, staff, partners and other members of the Essex community to celebrate this significant milestone in Essex County Cricket Club's history.
The evening featured speeches from Sir Stephen Timms MP, Essex Cricket Chair Jason Gallian, Club President John Lever MBE, CEO Dan Feist, and Essex Cricket in the Community Chair Rachel Lewis. The speakers reflected on the Club’s rich heritage, highlighted key achievements, and shared their aspirations for the future of Essex Cricket.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for guests to come together, celebrate the Club’s achievements over the past 150 years, and look ahead to the next chapter in Essex Cricket’s history.
