Essex Cricket can announce that Liberty Heap has won the Women's June Player of the Month award.
After securing nearly 70% of the vote, Heap has been named Essex Women's Tiptree Player of the Month following a brilliant month of performances from the 22-year-old.
In the six matches in June, Heap scored a total of 161 runs from 145 balls, including 19 fours and 4 sixes. The right-handed batter scored 75 off 63 against Hampshire in the Metro Bank One Day Cup and 46 off 31 against The Blaze in the Vitality T20 Blast, which were her best scores in each competition for the month.
