Essex Women's wicket-keeper batter Ariana Dowse will join Northamptonshire on loan.
Dowse, 24, will join up with the Northants squad for their next two Vitality Blast games in a short-term loan deal.
The 24-year-old will be available for the Steelbacks remaining T20 fixtures - against Yorkshire at Headingley, Leeds followed by Derbyshire at the County Ground, Derby.
Northamptonshire currently sit third in the Women's League 2 North Group table, winning two games out of the six played, three points a drift of Leicestershire in second place.
The keeper-batter has featured seven times so far this season for Essex Women, scoring 166 runs at an average of 33.20 and a high-score of 44.
