Live music is returning to Essex Cricket this summer.
Essex Cricket are delighted to announce the return of our on-pitch concert. This summer we will welcome Stars of London's West End to perform An Evening of Queen!
On Saturday 22 August a dazzling collection of performers from London’s West End, including former stars from the smash hit musical ‘We Will Rock You’, will come together to present an incredible tribute to one of the world’s greatest rock bands!
Backed by a phenomenal West End band and featuring dozens of hits from an astonishing back catalogue, this is a unique and stunning concert evening no Queen fan should miss!

Essex Cricket are delighted to welcome four West End vocalists to the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground, led by the supremely talented Ross Hunter.
Ross has performed all over the world, including several hit West End shows, touring productions, concerts, and a wide selection of cruise lines. Theatre credits include the role of ‘Galileo’ in the Olivier award winning We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre in London. He has played rock star ‘Drew’ in Rock of Ages and ‘Roger Davis’ in Jonathon Larson’s hit show RENT. Ross has performed Queen vocals with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and City Of Birmingham Orchestra, with Conductors Mike Dixon & Alfonso Casado.

The Ambassador Cruise Line ground is situated in the heart of the city. Chelmsford Station is only a 10-minute walk away, with trains running to and from London every 12 minutes. The ground is a short walk from Chelmsford bus station with multiple bus services running per day.
