Essex County Cricket Club is pleased to share the appointment of Bradley Donovan as the Club’s new Inclusivity Officer, reaffirming our commitment to creating a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive environment for everyone connected with Essex Cricket.
Brad, who also serves as the Club’s Disability Development Officer and is a valued employee of Essex Cricket since January 2017, shares a wealth of passion for equality, diversity, and inclusion. In his new role, he will lead the Club’s inclusivity strategy, working across all departments, teams, and community programmes to ensure that Essex Cricket continues to be a place where everybody feels respected, represented, and supported.
Speaking on his appointment, Brad said: “I am really excited to take on the role of Essex Cricket’s Inclusivity Officer.
“I look forward to working with players, staff, members, partners, and the general public and I hope you will all support me by helping to raise awareness and implement the evolving EDI Plan.
“I will be exploring new and inclusive ways to continue to make Essex Cricket a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, embracing diversity across all backgrounds, cultures, disabilities and LGBTQIA+ communities.”
