Essex Men will arrive in Cape Town on Tuesday 10 March for a red-ball tour of South Africa, featuring matches against Loughborough University, Warwickshire, and a Western Province Invitational XI.
Following arrival, Chris Silverwood's squad will get stuck into a set of training blocks, ahead of the opening fixture of the tour. The first match is scheduled for Friday 13 March, with Essex taking on Loughborough University in a 50-over red-ball match at Claremont.
The second fixture takes place on Monday 16 March, when Essex face Warwickshire in a two-day match at Stellenbosch.
On Thursday 19 March, the squad return to Claremont for a final two-day match against a Western Province Invitational XI, before flying back to London Heathrow on Sunday 22 March.
