A trio of Essex Women's Academy prospects have signed first team deals.
Essex Women have strengthened their squad with the signings of three players from the Essex Women's Academy: Clara Thaker, Bella Johnson and Amelie Bishop.
Thaker has signed a two-year rookie contract, while Johnson and Bishop have agreed two-week deals.
Meanwhile, Bryony Gillgrass has joined Essex Women from Warwickshire Academy on a short-term two-week deal.
All four players will be available for selection ahead of Essex Women's County Cup clash against Tier Two Gloucestershire Women on Sunday at Castle Park, Colchester.
