Essex Cricket can announce that Charlie Allison has won the May Player of the Month award.
After securing 52% of the supporters' vote, Allison has been named Essex Men's WeFinanceAnyCar.com Player of the Month following an outstanding run of form across both red and white-ball cricket.
Featuring in four matches during the month, two in the County Championship and two in the T20 Blast, the 21-year-old amassed 225 runs from 287 deliveries, underlining his consistency and adaptability across formats.
His performances included an impressive 30 fours and three sixes, combining patience and composure in the longer format with attacking intent in T20 cricket.
The highlight of the month came against Leicestershire, where he produced an innings of 72.
