Essex Cricket can announce that Amara Carr has won the Women's May Player of the Month award.
After securing a third of the supporters' vote, Carr has been named Essex Women's Tiptree Player of the Month following a good month of performances from the wicket-keeper batter.
Featuring in four matches throughout May (three Metro Bank One Day Cup matches and one Vitality T20 Blast), Carr was part of 15 wicket involvements. The 32-year-old assisted with six run outs, took five catches behind the stumps and claimed four stumpings.
