Essex Cricket are delighted to announce that Essex Women's all-rounder Jodi Grewcock has signed a contract extension with the Club.
The 21-year-old has agreed a two-year extension that will keep her at Essex until the end of the 2028 season.
Since Essex Women’s professional introduction at the start of the 2025 season, Grewcock has established herself as a key member of the side with both bat and ball, with her domestic performances earning international recognition and England call-ups.
On signing her new deal, Grewcock said: "I am very excited to be signing this new contract here at Essex.
"I am looking forward to continuing my journey at the Club, whilst working hard and hopefully contributing to success. We have an ambitious group and good support to build something special over the next couple of years.
"I am grateful for the opportunity and trust shown in me, and I am ready to give everything I can for the Club."
Leicester-born Grewcock has represented Essex in 19 List A matches, scoring nearly 700 runs at an average of 47 while taking nine wickets. In T20, she has scored 375 runs at an average of 42 and claimed seven wickets from 16 appearances.
The ambidextrous all-rounder, who bats left-handed and bowls right-arm leg-spin, is capable of opening the batting or batting at numbers three, four or five. Her highest List A score is an unbeaten 120, while her best T20 score is an unbeaten 57.
Grewcock made her England debut on 10 May this year in an ODI against New Zealand at Chester-le-Street, taking her maiden international wicket. She earned her second ODI appearance a week later against the Kiwis at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
In this year's addition of the Hundred, Grewcock featured for Southern Brave, having previously represented Trent Rockets last year.
