Essex Cricket are pleased to announce that wicketkeeper-batter Ella Claridge has signed for Essex Women on a short-term loan agreement from The Blaze.
The 23-year-old has signed a loan deal which will see her join up with Essex Women for three of the remaining Metro Bank One Day Cup group fixtures. Ella will not be available for selection in the match against her home club The Blaze on 11 September.
Claridge will go straight into the squad for the trip to Warwickshire on Thursday.
On signing for Essex Women, Claridge said: "I’m grateful for the opportunity, and looking forward to getting some valuable game time under my belt, whilst hopefully contributing to the team and making the most of the chance to keep progressing my game forward."
