Essex Cricket can reveal the shortlist for Player of the Year and Performance of the Year, for both the Men’s and Women’s teams.
What a season we have had! Essex Women got to their first Finals Day, Essex Men battled it out in the Vitality Blast Quarter Finals and we've seen some stand out performances from our players over the past six months.

We’ve also been through the archives and picked out our shortlist for the Woodland Group Men's and Surridge Women's Performance of the Year. We’ve chosen those stand out moments that we cannot stop talking about, the ones that are game-defining.
The winning Men’s and Women’s players and performances will be announced at the upcoming Players’ End of Season Awards on Tuesday 29 September with voting closing at midday on Thursday 24 September 2025.
By submitting your vote, you will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win one of four Essex signed shirts.
a. Each entrant will receive no more than one valid entry.
b. The prize cannot be exchanged or refunded.
c. The winners will be chosen at random with four individuals winning a signed 2026 Essex shirt.
d. The competition will run until 5pm on Wednesday 23 September 2026.
e. The winners will be contacted via the email provided by 11:59pm on Friday 25 September 2026 and has until 10am on Friday 2 October 2026 to confirm receipt of the prize.
f. Should the winner not respond by 10am on Friday 2 October 2026, a new winner shall be contacted.
