Seasonal Grounds Person – Chelmsford
Essex County Cricket Club is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Grounds Person to join our Groundstaff team at our Chelmsford headquarters. In this role, you will play a vital part in the preparation and maintenance of our world-class playing facilities, including turf nets, ensuring they meet the highest standards for cricket at all levels.
While based primarily at Chelmsford, you may occasionally provide support at Billericay Cricket Ground, home to our development centre. Responsibilities will include the upkeep of playing surfaces and the maintenance of machinery and equipment, ensuring everything is match-ready.

In this key role, you will lead a team of two in ensuring the cricket squares, outfield, and turf nets meet the highest standards for play.
Working primarily at Billericay Cricket Club, with occasional support at our Chelmsford headquarters, you will be responsible for the preparation and upkeep of the ground, as well as the maintenance of machinery and equipment.
