The Cricket Regulator has today confirmed that Leicestershire's point deduction for a breach of ECB Pitch Regulations has been upheld.
The outcome confirms that Essex County Cricket Club will participate in Division 1 of the Rothesay County Championship in 2027.

Membership Renewal Pricing
The Club has delayed the Membership renewal price increase. 2026 Members who are yet to renew for 2027 will have until 11:59pm on Monday 09 November to renew at the Members’ renewal price.
Renewal prices will rise on Tuesday 10 November.
