Cook named in Test squad for New Zealand Tour

Alastair Cook has been named in the 16-man squad for England tour of New Zealand, which starts in March. There is no place for youngster, Dan Lawrence who had been tipped by many to be included, but Cook is the only player to feature from the County Champions.

Lancashire’s Liam Livingstone has been picked for the first time, along with Durham’s Ben Stokes Mark Wood who both return to the squad. They replace Gary Ballance, Jake Ball and Tom Curran who all miss out after their inclusion in the Ashes tour.
