Born in Leicester, Jodi Louise Grewcock signed her first professional cricket contract in 2023 when she graduated from the Sunrisers Academy in the former domestic structure. She originally came through the Northamptonshire pathway.
The young all-rounder is an ambidextrous operator who bats left-handed at the top of the order but bowls right-arm leg-spin. Jodi features for the Trent Rockets in The Hundred competition and at the start of the 2025 season, she was selected for the England A Women’s tour to Australia.
Featuring on 17 occasions in Essex colours in 2025, Jodi scored a total of 383 runs at an average of 34.81 and took 7 wickets. Her performances earned her a call-up to the England Women’s IT20 World Cup training camp at the end of the 2025 season.
