Finally, maintaining a positive attitude, staying dedicated to improvement, and enjoying the game are essential aspects of a junior cricketer's journey towards success. Accreditation 2026

The current ECB Clubmark accreditation scheme came to an end in 2025. From 2026, a transition period is in place to bridge the gap between the end fo the ECB Clubmark accreditation scheme and the upcoming scheme beginning in 2027. Below is information for both accredited and non-accredited clubs on what their next steps are during this transition period.

Existing Clubs
Clubs with active Clubmark accreditation (awarded 2022-2025) will retain their status throughout 2026. These clubs will transition to the new ECB Accreditation Programme upon its launch in 2027. ECIC will liaise with existing Clubmark clubs to reassure them of their status and ensure that they are maintaining their standards in areas such as Safe Hands Management System.
