Amara Danielle Carr, born in Plymouth, Devon, is an agile wicketkeeper who originally played for Middlesex in 2017, where she was picked up by the Sunrisers regional side in 2020 for the former domestic model.
Throughout the first five iterations of The Hundred competition, Amara has been selected for the London Spirit, Manchester Originals and Southern Brave outfits.
In 23 matches for Essex Women in 2025, Carr scored 223 runs with her high score of 67 from 92 coming at Taunton Vale, away to Somerset in the One Day Cup. Amara has been involved in fourteen dismissals in the 23 appearances, through stumpings and caught behinds.
