Ariana Dowse, born in Eastbourne, East Sussex, is a top-order batter who also holds the skillset as a wicketkeeper. She started her cricketing journey in the Sussex pathway before moving to Hampshire for five seasons until she was signed by the Sunrisers in 2023.
Dowse holds the accolade of being the first-ever Sunrisers centurion in the previous women’s domestic structure, as she struck 105 in only her third appearance.
At the conclusion of the 2025 season, Dowse featured on 12 occasions for the Essex Women, scoring 256 runs at a healthy average of 32.
