Born in Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, Danielle “Danni” Louise Warren is the Performance and Growth Director with a focus on the strategic development across the women’s structure.
Warren's role will see her build and deliver a strategy that generates sustainable off-field growth, promotes homegrown inspiration and supports Silverwood and Parry in their pursuit of on-field success.
Warren joined Essex County Cricket Club as Essex Women's Performance Director in November 2024 as part of the Club’s transition to a professional Tier 1 setup. In her role, she oversaw the strategic development and performance enhancement of the Essex Women’s team and the player pathway.
Prior to her appointment at Essex, Warren served as a Coach Developer and Mentor with the ECB from 2008, held the role of Regional Director of Women’s Cricket for London & East, was Head of Women’s Cricket at Middlesex, and served as Women’s Head Coach at Berkshire Cricket.
During her playing career, Danni represented Middlesex Women, making 113 appearances and taking 154 wickets at an impressive average of 18.25.
