Player Bio

Born in Burnley, Lancashire, Liberty Nicole Heap joined Essex Women permanently from Lancashire Women after a short-term loan at the end of the 2025 season.

The right-handed batter has had experience at England Women Under 19s and development sides, is a two-time ECB School Games champion and was the leading run scorer in the National Under 19s tournament in 2022.

In 2023, she was selected in the England Women 19s squad alongside Essex Women’s captain Grace Scrivens, for the inaugural Under 19s Women’s World Cup. Heap scored the fasted half-century of the tournament, scoring 50 off 25 balls.

Heap was signed for the Manchester Originals for the 2024 Hundred competition but didn’t feature. On Essex debut against The Blaze in 2025, Heap scored a well-orchestrated 33 from 37 balls which included five fours.
