The Essex County Ground hosts England U19s this weekend for the second Royal London One-Day match against Sri Lanka U19s. The three game series begins on Wednesday at Wormsley CC, ahead of the team travelling to Chelmsford on Saturday, with play beginning at 10:30am.
The match is 50-over per side with the timings scheduled to be:
Gate Open: 9am
Toss: 10am
First Innings: 10:30am – 2pm
Interval: 2pm – 2:45pm
Second Innings: 2:45 – 6:15pm
Spectators will have the oppoortunity to see some homegrown talent once again with Chelmsford-born, Aaron Beard being named in the squad following some impressive performances in the 3-day matches.
Entry to this match is now free of charge for all spectators with no tickets required for the gates. There are Members’ Areas for this fixture which will be the Pavilion and Block 29 (Hayes Close End). All other areas are open to the public.
Food & Drink will be available for this match with the Pavilion Bar open for Members throughout the match. Spinner’s Bar will also be open serving hot and cold drinks, plus a selection of food options.
