Essex players Ravi Bopara and Ashar Zaidi are currently both in action in the Bangladesh Premier League.
Ravi is playing for the Dhaka Dynamites and has played 2 matches so far. They won their first match with Ravi taking 1/23 from his 4 overs. However they lost their second match with Ravi scoring 20 with the bat and 0/34 from his 3 overs.
Ashar is playing for the Comilla Victorians, the same said he represented in last years tournament. He has played 1 game in the tournament so far which they lost. It was not the best T20 performance that Ashar has ever produced scoring only 2 with the bat and going for 18 from his 2 overs with the ball.
The two players are set to play against each other next Monday (14th).
