Adam Wheater opened the batting for the Eagles against his former Club and helped to steer his side to a 7-wicket victory with 36 balls remaining. It was Wheater’s first NatWest T20 Blast appearance in front of the crowd at The Cloudfm County Ground.
His innings spanned 32 balls and included 8 fours, and will be full of confidence heading into the next match against Glamorgan at the SWALEC in Cardiff.
