Essex Cricket went further afield in Barbados last week on Thursday to go and visit one of the island’s schools. On the agenda for students at Lodge School was some cricket coaching from Ashar Zaidi and Head of Cricket Operations, Dan Feist, who were also joined by Club Chairman John Faragher.
There were two classes taking part in the morning plus the opportunity to also work with the school’s cricket team. The students also took part in a 6 hitting competition with some expert help from ‘Boom Boom Zaidi’ himself.
