The new Specsavers County Championship shirt has landed and will be proudly worn by the squad for the 2019/20 seasons.
The colour red is engrained in the Club’s heritage and appears on the sleeves and placket of the new shirt design to complement the ivory. The famous seaxes appear throughout the new shirt, featuring on the shirt reverse alongside the player’s name and number.
The front includes our front of shirt sponsor, D&B Scaffolding, who continue their long-standing relationship with the Club, feature for the fourth consecutive season.
The Chelmsford based company have shared a successful period with the Club since coming on board as main shirt sponsors in 2016, including the Club’s promotion to Division One, as well as the unforgettable 2017 County Championship title win.
D&B Scaffolding Chief Executive Officer, Gerry Dobbs, is delighted to have D&B Scaffolding figuring on the new Championship shirt for the next two seasons, commenting: “We’re looking forward to another successful season and are ecstatic with how the new shirt looks on the playing squad for the upcoming season.
“It’s a privilege to be involved with Essex Cricket and we’re dedicated to supporting sporting Club’s across the region, along with the success that this brings.”
