Chef Takes Top Accolade at End of Season Awards

Alastair Cook was named as the DeVines Player of the Year during this year’s End of Season Awards night which took place on Thursday evening.

The annual event, which took place virtually via Essex Cricket TV, looked back and celebrated another trophy-winning campaign for the Club with members of the squad and coaching staff.

There was a chance to hear from likes of skipper, Tom Westley, Anthony McGrath and Alastair Cook plus relive some of the great moments this summer, including the Bob Willis Trophy Final at Lord’s.

We thank everyone who joined us on Thursday evening and to those who voted in this year’s DeVines Player of the Year poll. A winner of the framed shirt will be selected at random and contacted shortly.
