The latest Eagle to join the ranks has arrived ahead of this year’s Vitality Blast competition. Jimmy Neesham is now on UK soil and set for the tournament opener on Wednesday evening with a trip to The Cooper Associates County Ground where Somerset await.
The New Zealander has signed for the campaign and struck a half-century for the Second XI this week in preparation for the Blast.
He spoke exclusively to Essex Cricket TV ahead of his first match and is looking forward to pulling on the Eagles shirt for the first time this week.
