The Essex First Team headed to Benton Hall for the Club’s annual Golf Day at Benton Hall, featuring Sam Cook, Aaron Beard, Ben Allison, Will Buttleman and Club Ambassador, Graham Gooch. The event was sponsored by Integral Sports Management and raised funds for the Essex Foundation
The team from Integral Sports Management enjoyed the most success on the green, taking home the Best Team trophy, whilst our very own Sam Cook was the pick of the playing squad scooping up both Best Individual and Longest Drive, and proving that his sporting talents extend beyond the cricket pitch.
Ben Allison walked away with the player’s Nearest to the Pin trophy during a great afternoon of golf. Congratulations to our other winners on the day, Stewart Sanderson, Matt Sanders and Andy Byrne who took home the individual awards.
A total of £455 was raised for the Essex Cricket Foundation through the event raffle and thank you to all who supported the Golf Day this year, including our event sponsor Integral Sports Management.
The final event this year is the annual Lord’s Long Room Lunch, which is now sold out but look out for the calendar of events for 2023 which will be released later this year.
