The Cloud County Ground will once again welcome England Women in 2024 as host of the 3rd One-Day International of a series against Pakistan Women on 29 May.
Derby’s Incora County Ground and the Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton will precede Chelmsford in hosting Heather Knight’s team in that series, which itself follows three IT20s against the same opposition.
The ODI to be hosted at The Cloud County Ground comes hot on the heels of a successful Ashes summer this year, during which England Women have attracted record ticket sales.
A month after taking on Pakistan in Chelmsford, Knight’s charges will go up against New Zealand in three ODIs, before rounding out their schedule with five IT20s against the Silver Ferns, concluding on 17 July.
Meanwhile, England Men will launch their summer by also playing Pakistan in four IT20s from 22 May, as part of their final preparations for their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title defence.
Following their return from that tournament, to be hosted in the United States of America and across the Caribbean, England Men will begin their Test summer when they host West Indies Men in a three-match series.
Those Tests will take place between 10 and 30 July before Ben Stokes’ side take on Sri Lanka Men in another three-match series from 21 August until 10 September.
England Men are then back in white-ball action to conclude the summer as they welcome back Australia Men for three IT20s and five ODIs, with the final match of the latter series scheduled for 29 September.
The England Physical Disability, England Learning Disability, England Visually Impaired and England Deaf teams will also all be in action in 2024, with fixtures to be announced in due course.
Vitality Blast Finals Day will be staged at Edgbaston with date also due to be confirmed.
Ticket sales activity is set to commence from 30 August with a Public Ballot for England Men’s and England Women’s international fixtures.

Essex Cricket Chief Executive, John Stephenson, said: “I am delighted that The Cloud County Ground will once again welcome England Women in 2024, at a time when interest in the women’s game has never been higher.
“With tickets also still on sale for September’s IT20 against Sri Lanka Women, there are now multiple opportunities for fans across Essex and the wider region to witness international cricket in Chelmsford.
“We always look forward to these occasions, and the continued selection of The Cloud County Ground as a host of women’s international cricket is vindication of our approach to creating a memorable fan experience.”
Richard Gould, ECB Chief Executive Officer, said: “After attracting record ticket sales this summer it is fitting that the England Women’s team will open the international season next year at an iconic venue such as Edgbaston.
“Next summer’s schedule will see England Women play at more venues and allow more people to see their heroes in action as we look to maintain the growth the women’s game deserves.
“Fans across England and Wales will also get to see our England Men’s world champions in action ahead of their T20 World Cup title defence, before three-match Test series against both West Indies and Sri Lanka.
“We can also confirm that our England Visually Impaired, England Physical Disability, England Deaf and England Learning Disability teams will all play next summer and that we are working to confirm those matches.
“We are looking forward to another memorable summer which is set to finish with white-ball series against New Zealand for our England Women’s team and Australia for our England Men’s team.”
