Essex supporters will now have the chance to own a piece of special Essex memorabilia as part of an exciting new partnership with MatchWornShirt for the upcoming 2024 season.
MatchWornShirts is the Club’s new Official Digital Auction Partner, promising supporters the unprecedented opportunity to own a signed and worn shirt from their favourite player throughout the season.
The shirts, taken after each game, are presented in their unwashed state, preserving the authenticity to make them unique and distinctive items of cricket memorabilia.
The agreement will also include the opportunity for charitable donations to special causes throughout the duration of the partnership.
The first opportunity to bid on a shirt will be from the men’s First Team squad for our opening home match against Kent in the Vitality County Championship. The online auction will begin at 11am on Friday 12 April with the opportunity to own a shirt for a member of the starting XI worn during the four days.
