The 2025 Cricket Collective Awards were held at The Ambassador Cruise Line Ground last weekend during the Women’s Metrobank One Day Cup Match against The Blaze.
All winners were recognised at the event, which was hosted in partnership with Cambridgeshire Cricket Board, and presented with their awards.
The event was attended by 80 people including award winners, Essex and Cambridgeshire Cricket representatives, guest presenters and friends and family. As well as the presentations, our guests watched the match from our premier suite and enjoyed lunch and tea as recognition for their fantastic contribution across the recreational game.
The ECB Cricket Collective Awards (formerly the OSCAs) are aimed at recognising those volunteers in the recreational game of cricket who give so much of their time to the sport, and underlining that without these individuals, the game would not survive.
The awards provide an ideal opportunity for saying thank you to our volunteers for their incredible work and celebrate their success with them.

The awards were presented across the day by Essex and England A Women’s Cricketer Jodi Grewcock, Cambridgeshire Cricket Board Director Rob Benson, Umpire & Cambridgeshire Cricket Board Director Lizzie Conder, and Essex Director of Network Operations & Essex Women’s Wicket Keeping Coach Ben Wallis.

“All these volunteers have made a huge difference to their clubs, leagues and communities, developing exciting opportunities within the recreational game across the county. This year, it’s been brilliant that we could align it with one of our Women’s home fixtures as well to showcase the opportunities available to players, coaches, officials and volunteers across the game.
“The day was a small thank you to the team of volunteers who contribute so much to this great game.”
Neil Liversedge from Cambridgeshire Cricket Board added: “On behalf of Cambridgeshire Cricket I would like to say Thank You to Essex Cricket for allowing us in Cambridgeshire to share our Cricket Collective Awards Day with you on Saturday in Chelmsford.
“It was great to meet and see all of the Award Winners together, enjoying watching some cricket, getting to know each other and celebrating stories of why they were there. We have already received several compliments back from attendees about how well run the event was”
