A standout fixture in this year’s Metro Bank One Day Cup competition is this weekend’s Help for Heroes Day, when Essex Men host Gloucestershire Men at the Ambassador County Ground.
As part of the Club’s ongoing partnership with Principal Partner Ambassador Cruise Line, the match will proudly support Help for Heroes, the charity dedicated to supporting veterans and their families.
To mark the occasion, the Essex Men’s team will take to the field in a limited-edition Help for Heroes commemorative shirt, designed to raise both awareness and funds with 50% of proceeds helping the fantastic cause. Ambassador Cruise Line have generously supported the initiative by donating their front-of-shirt sponsorship for the match.
The commemorative shirt will also be worn by Essex Women on Thursday 4 September, when they face Hampshire Women at Chelmsford in the Metro Bank Women’s One Day Cup.
